The Actors’ Fund’s Actors’ Work Program (AWP) assists entertainment industry professionals in identifying and finding sideline work and new careers. AWP is a comprehensive employment and training program committed to fostering resiliency and self-reliance for industry professionals as well as providing a resource for referral of highly skilled and creative workers to the larger employment community.

Our mission is three-fold: To encourage Asian American and Pacific Islanders to enter the ranks of journalism; To work for fair and accurate coverage of Asian American and Pacific Islanders; To increase the number of Asian American and Pacific Islander journalists and news managers in the industry.

Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) is the leading minority organization in Information Technology. The New York Chapter, 501(c)6, is the 5th largest chapter of 50 Chapters across the United States. BDPA is a global member focused organization that positions its members at the forefront of the IT industry. Our mission is to stay abreast of, and contribute to the development and trends in the Information Technology industry.

Forty Plus is the original self-help job-search organization. Our members have been successfully changing "Fired" to "Hired" since 1939, when America was still struggling to pull out of the Great Depression. Forty Plus has pioneered many of the most successful, step-by-step techniques that actually work. For example, our pioneering Resume Builder Program has long been recognized as the Gold Standard in New York.

Public Allies New York is the leading-edge leadership development program in New York City. We build strong community leadership skills among young adults through full-time professional apprenticeships in nonprofit organizations, leadership training, and team service.

The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) is dedicated to the recognition and professional advancement of Hispanics in the news industry. Established in April 1984, NAHJ created a national voice and unified vision for all Hispanic journalists. NAHJ is governed by an 18-member board of directors that consists of executive officers and regional directors who represent geographic areas of the United States and the Caribbean. The national office is located in the National Press Building in Washington, D.C.

The Department of Small Business Services (SBS) makes it easier for companies in New York City to form, do business, and grow by providing direct assistance to business owners, fostering neighborhood development in commercial districts, promoting financial and economic opportunity among minority- and women-owned businesses, preparing New Yorkers for jobs, and linking employers with a skilled and qualified workforce.
