Job Description


Conde Nast's Events team is made up of event strategists and producer/project management experts who combine the power of our authoritative brands with a vast portfolio of experiential capabilities to bring unforgettable Virtual and IRL experiences to our audience of targeted influencers and engaged consumers. We develop best-in-class experiences and client events that build brand value, connect with clients, and target audiences. Whatever the challenge, we deliver superior results like no one else can. Opportunity We are looking for an ambitious Associate Manager with 2-3 years of event-related experience to support the team on b spoke Virtual and IRL experiences across select brands (including Pitchfork, Wired, Teen Vogue, Vanity Fair) and industry events. We're looking for candidates who are excited about partnering with some of the world's most recognized brands to deliver best-in-class events. The Associate Manager position is responsible for successfully shepherding pr grams from ideation through launch, overseeing the full event production and post-execution analysis. This person must have strong cross-collaboration skills and will work with the internal Creative, Sales, and Marketing teams as well as the external clients and agencies. This role reports to the Director, Events.


Core Responsibilities:


* Event planning from strategy and ideation to execution and post-event wrap-up
* Serve as an experiential activation client contact for select accounts
* Contract and manage vendor relationships
* Generate and adhere to program production budgets and timelines
* Assist in the execution of client entertaining and editorial events as needed
* Providing support across a variety of events such as invitation distribution, email deployment, guest list management, on-site event support, talent agreements, and travel booking


Desired Skills + Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree with minimum 2-3 years of event-related experience
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities
* Highly organized with great attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable with budgeting and sales reporting
* Ability to work independently and within a team setting
* Experience managing vendors
* Experienced with G Suite, Excel, Keynote, PowerPoint

The expected base salary range for this position is from $66,000-$74,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
