Offered Wage: $148,000.06/year


Duties: Defines authoritative sources and systems of record and anomaly discovery. Performs root cause and gap analysis. Engages with Application and Testing teams across the organization to understand data requirements, flows, entities, and relationships. Works with business teams to develop KPIs, metrics logic, and business rules. Defines metadata and functional data model requirements. Consults on defining enterprise sources and building physical data models. Supports the definition of test scenarios and prepares test scripts to support business and technology teams in end-to-end Quality Assurance (QA) testing efforts. Leads business user testing and validation and triages defects. Reverse engineers mainframe applications.


Education & Experience Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience performing data analysis and reverse engineering within mainframe and Oracle applications, tools, and technologies.
Or, alternatively:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience performing data analysis and reverse engineering within mainframe and Oracle applications, tools, and technologies.


Required Skills:
Experience must include 1 year in each of the following skills:

(1) Programming and coding applications leveraging SQL, Oracle, Toad, Hadoop, COBOL, PL/1, JCL, and Python;

(2) Performing software development implementations leveraging Waterfall and Agile software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies;

(3) Performing system test planning, and executing test scenarios for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT);

(4) Working with life insurance and annuity data in the life insurance domain; and,

(5) Building data flow channels and processing systems to extract, transform, load (ETL), and to integrate data from multiple sources using ETL tools.
