Position Summary: As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of assigned assets across shifts or all assets on one shift. Your primary goal is to drive business performance by reducing waste, improving output, and optimizing labor utilization. You'll lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce scrap, ultimately contributing to lower costs and improved profitability.

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Take daily accountability for safety, quality, and productivity results of assigned teams.
  • Ensure teams meet manufacturing targets for safety, quality, and productivity through the execution of the Rockline Operating System.
  • Provide daily leadership and direction for direct reports and team members to improve efficiencies, quality, or implement corrective action plans for underperforming lines.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and recommend measures to enhance equipment safety, product quality, production efficiencies, equipment performance, and scrap rate.
  • Coordinate staffing and overtime requirements to meet production needs.
  • Ensure that customer expectations are understood and met by all members of the asset team.
  • Enforce adherence to all policies and procedures.
  • Optimize shift transitions through consistent communication with direct reports and team members.
  • Select, mentor, and develop direct reports to improve performance and foster their professional development.
  • Coordinate or conduct training as required.

This position is designated as a Safety-Sensitive (A safety-sensitive position is one in which the associate's inability or impaired ability to perform their job-related tasks could result in a direct threat to the associate's safety or the safety of others).

Qualification Requirements: To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of manufacturing experience. OR
  • High School diploma with 6 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication skills in a positive and professional manner.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
