As a Community Outreach Representative, you will improve market awareness and support community presence for VNS Health Plans through the planning, coordination and implementation of presentations, events and grassroots strategies to enhance product visibility. This role works under general supervision

What You Will Do

• Plan, execute, and assess community events and activities to boost VNS Health Plans visibility, including street fairs, health education presentations, and health fairs.
• Lead promotional efforts with the marketing team to maximize attendance and awareness of community events.
• Foster relationships with Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), participating in boards and committees to expand VNS Health presence.
• Represent VNS Health at community events, providing member support and collaborating with CBO staff on informational presentations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies governing VNS Health Plans marketing and enrollment activities, staying updated on new policies from NYS Department of Health and CMS.

Licenses and Certifications:

• NYS Accident and Health Insurance License required
• Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle preferred

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, a related field, or the equivalent work experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, a related field, or the equivalent work experience preferred

Work Experience:

• Minimum of three years' experience in marketing, sales, public relations, community relations, fund-raising, or other relevant experience. required and
• Experience in health care or health insurance setting highly. preferred
