Job Description

Executive Director – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Santander US Capital Markets LLC) - Plan, direct, and coordinate investment strategy for Latin American Equity Sales. Analyze and interpret financial data in order to provide actionable insights. Leverage financial analysis in order to optimize product offering strategies to our clients. Analyze financial data including orders from clients to buy and sell shares so that investors are aware of the main names currently active on the trading side. Lead business development efforts throughout the assigned region targeting larger scale clients. Drive the growth and retention of existing client relationships, build new client relationships, and provide the full breadth of the Company’s products and services to clients and prospects. Identify and pursue new sales prospects within existing or untapped markets. Gather market intelligence, generate leads, and develop proposals and campaigns to garner new business, ensuring a consistent flow of new revenues to the company. Determine demand, future trends, and potential projects. Lead deal teams during the underwriting process and transaction due diligence, and lead the production of offering memoranda and engagement letters. Requirements: Master’s in Finance or Business Administration, plus two years of experience in position offered or a Vice President equity sales position. All required experience must have included originating and executing equity capital markets transactions in North America and Latin America such as special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) transactions and IPOs for various industries; using knowledge of cross-border regulations between U.S., Europe and Latin America to provide corporate finance, capital markets and advisory services; originating senior client relationships with institutional investors in the U.S. and Canada and providing them with information and services regarding equity investments to maximize returns; connecting investors and providing market insights, trading ideas, and corporate access; and gathering and analyzing market data from CRM Salesforce, Dealogic and Bloomberg. FINRA certifications SIE, Series 7TO and Series 63 required. Position requires approximately 40-50% domestic and international travel. #LI-DNI. Salary: $270,000-$300,000/year.
