Popejoy Hall, the premier performing arts center in New Mexico, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our motivated marketing team. As a Marketing Assistant, you will play an important role in promoting Popejoy Hall and its various programs, events, and initiatives to the public, media outlets, and key stakeholders. This position includes a blend of marketing support, administrative tasks and coordination of promotional activities.
Seating up to 1,985 patrons, Popejoy Hall is the largest venue of its kind in the state. Popejoy hosts touring Broadway shows, symphony concerts, musical soloists and artists of international caliber, world-renowned ballet and modern dance companies, and noted speakers from a broad spectrum of disciplines. As a successful Marketing Assistant, you will:
*Execute designated UNM Ticketing Services marketing campaigns, including email marketing initiatives as determined by marketing team.
*Assist in the development, distribution, and analysis of surveys; compile data and prepare reports for departmental use.
*Manage distribution of promotional materials such as posters and maintain marketing displays.
*Support marketing automation tasks using Eloqua and Salesforce platforms.
*Oversee the archival process for Popejoy Hall marketing materials and establish new filing systems.
*Provide accounting and administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings and appointments.
*Contribute to the management of UNM Ticketing Services social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, X) to promote event listings and enhance campus-wide event awareness.
*Aid in managing social media presence for Popejoy Hall, Popejoy Presents, and Schooltime Series across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
*Liaise with event shows to obtain necessary marketing materials and approvals.
*Assist in maintaining and updating departmental websites (Popejoy Presents, Schooltime Series, UNM Ticketing Services).
*Coordinate promotional ticket requests for Popejoy Hall events.
*Represent the department at events.
*Provide support for IT tickets as needed,
*Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
