Posting Summary | The Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences is inviting applications for a full-time faculty member of the Rutgers Doctorate in Physical Therapy Program. We are specifically seeking a Physical Therapist with expertise in Anatomy for DPT and OTD students and application for PT students. This faculty position is at the Instructor to Associate Professor level. Rutgers is a member of the prestigious AAU and Big Ten conference and is internationally ranked and recognized for its diversity and excellence. As one of the oldest University's in the country, Rutgers recently celebrated its 250th anniversary. SHP is one of eight schools that are part of Rutgers Health, the premier health sciences institution in New Jersey. The Physical Therapy Program is housed within the SHP Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences. As a Center for Rehabilitation Excellence, this Department is focused on the evolution of our clinical spaces and labs, being in the forefront of education in physical and occupational therapy and speech-language pathology and conducting research to optimize patient care and outcomes. Our faculty are national and global leaders in their fields. With all three programs housed within the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences there are wonderful opportunities for student interprofessional education and faculty collaborative research and scholarship. |
