Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Hematology Oncology physician to the group at Metropolitan Hospital Center. The hospital is part of theNYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Metropolitan Hospital Center accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually.

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College. To maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Responsibilities
    We are seeking a full time Attending Physician in the Department of Medicine-Hematology/Oncology
  • Under general direction, performs or directly supervises the provision of the professional general or specialty medical work of ordinary difficulty
  • Performs all related work
Qualifications
  • Active or eligible for NY state medical license
  • Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology (with ability to become board certified within 5 years)
  • Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
