Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant at Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital. The Hospitals are part of theNYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Exciting opportunity for Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to be part of a new project.
Health + Hospitals is starting an early mobility program in the ICU setting. PTAs will be assisting Physical Therapists responsible for every stage of mobility from bed activities to ambulation. State of the art equipment will be used to help improve mobility. PTAs will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. There will be open communication with the physicians on the unit they are assigned to ensure optimum mobility while maintaining safety and proper precautions.
This program will be seven days a week so PTAs will have a work schedule that includes one of the weekend days.
