As a Traveling Field Property Adjuster, you will play a crucial role in assessing property damages, estimating losses, and settling claims in accordance with customer policies. You will conduct on-site inspections, write detailed damage estimates, and provide clear explanations of both the estimate and the policy to customers. Additionally, you will leverage advanced video technology to collaborate virtually with customers and vendors when not in the field. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to negotiate claim settlements. You must be adaptable to work independently or as part of a team, both face-to-face and virtually. Candidates who are located inNew York, NY, New Jersey, NY, Connecticut, CT,Maryland, MD and Virginia, VAare highly desired and will be given screening preference.
You may be eligible for a $1000 Licensing Sign on Bonus if you have the applicable active licenses needed for this role. This could include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License.
Candidates who have previously worked for and are seeking to be rehired at Allstate and its family of companies are not eligible for this sign-on bonus.
As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license. If applicable, you will be required to secure license(s) within 60 days of hire.
If required, the Hiring Manager will work with you along with the Centralized Licensing team to ensure that you are properly licensed.
Compensation offered for this role is$78,000 - $100,000 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
